Memory Imperfections

We are really impressed with the way Hollis Brown Thornton ( who is an artist based in South Carolina ) is dealing through his artworks with themes as memory and change. In the pieces of his art he often uses old family photos edited with a physical or with a digital way sometimes erasing the details to represent memory's imperfections as he says. if you want to learn more about him or buy some pieces of his art you can follow this link.

Ειμαστε ιδιαιτερα εντυπωσιασμενες με τον τροπο που ο Hollis Brown Thornton ( καλλιτεχνης o οποιος ζει και εργαζεται στην Νοτια Καρολινα ) διαχειριζεται μεσω των εργων του θεματα οπως η μνημη και η αλλαγη. Στις δημιουργιες του συχνα χρησιμοποιει παλιες οικογενειακες φωτογραφιες επεξεργασμενες με φυσικο ή με ψηφιακο τροπο και πολυ συχνα κανοντας erase στις λεπτομερειες, κατι που οπως αναφερεται κι ο ιδιος αντιπροσωπευει για εκεινον τις ατελειες της μνημης. αν θελεις να μαθεις περισσοτερα για εκεινον και την φιλοσοφια της δουλειας του ή να αγορασεις κατι δικο του ακολουθησε το παρακατω link.

if I was in Melbourne ( I know it's so far away from here ) I would definitely visit this awesome space named Common Galaxia to drink my coffee and grab a bite. the cafe is designed by Luke Mutton from Sunkland Project who is also the owner of this inspired place.
